Nippers

The Mildura LSC Bush Nippers is a free water safety program for children 5-12 years old that is run every weekend in February. The program has been running at Apex Beach since 2017. The only fee is the club membership fee. Run by parents, siblings and our club leadership team, Nippers is something that the whole family can get involved in. There are a range of roles on the day from set up/pack up, age managers, water safety, and BBQ. If you would like to get involved in nippers please contact us at nippers@milduralifesaving.com

*Important to note is that the Bush Nippers is not a learn to swim program and depending on your child’s age, they should have some swimming proficiency. Each nipper will be assessed before they go in the water. For the younger age groups the assessment requires floating on their back for 30 seconds. So please practice this with your child/children before the program starts.
